Cincinnati Boudoir Photography/Boudoir Marathon

Click in image for larger view.

A boudoir marathon is a one or two day boudoir photo session that will take place in one of Cincinnati's nicest hotels. I will be scheduling one and a half hour sessions starting at noon on January 23. A marathon is a great way to schedule a session outside of your home at a discounted price. Your session is completely private, no one sees your images but me. Each session includes a private online gallery and a beautiful 5x7 little black book with ten of your favorite images packaged and ready for Valentine's Day.  You will also receive a disk of your digital negatives.  There are a limited number of spots so be sure to contact me soon for more details! These are a few images from a marathon I hosted a few weeks ago.

Love, it really is all I need.

These are from a concert I photographed earlier this year.

I have been digging through my archives trying to get half way organized. As I go through all of my folders I am noticing the theme in my work no matter what I am photographing is love. I am a lover of love. I love to be loved, I love to love others, I love when others love each other. I love to see it, feel it, know it, appreciate it, and believe in it. I love affection and sometimes public displays of it overwhelms my emotions and sweeps me away. I love when people hold hands and kiss and snuggle. I am drawn to it, and if I have my camera I love to photograph it.
Though I never really dreamed of getting married and having children like most girls do, I always dreamed of falling in love. I am thankful everyday for the beautiful, unconditional love I share with Dave. We fell in love young and our love keeps us young. After 13 years I still wake up smiling with him by my side.

The Reanimated/Cincinnati Band Photographer

I spent this past Saturday night hanging out with an old friend of mine, Jason. He plays the drums in a punk band called The Reanimated. I have been trying to get out to see one of his shows, but our timing has always been off. Saturday was the band's CD release party at The Mad Hatter in Covington. I was glad to finally make it to see them play, I had a great time. Though they might look a little scary, everyone was so nice and they put on a great show. I got there a little late, but I made it in time to see another cool band that was opening for Jason's band. You can check out the bands here...The Reanimated and Legbone.

Christmas Session/Cincinnati Family Photographer

You might remember seeing AJ earlier this year on my blog when we did a summer photo session. He is the nephew of one of my really good friends and he is a cutie! Denna, his mother wanted to do a Christmas session with AJ and his uncle Kevin. It was so relaxed and fun, two hours flew by and we got some really great images. Thanks Denna for hiring me two times in this year to photograph your family! You win the award for my most loyal client. :) I will have to think of a special prize for you!!

Lucas

I met some of my best friends while working at Bob Evans as a waitress years ago. Ashley is one of them. We would all entertain each other while we were at work and on the weekends we would go out and dance the night away. We had so much fun and made so many memories.

It had been way too long since Ashley and I hung out. It blows me away how five years can just fly by. I realize life happens to all of us, our lives change and we lose touch with people, it doesn't mean I have to like it! :)

Ashley wanted to get some pictures of her new son Lucas for Christmas. As soon as I walked in Ashley's house it was like no time had passed at all. She made me feel so welcome and I had a blast chasing little Lucas around. It makes me so happy to see people I love happy. Ashley, you and Paul are such a wonderful couple, thanks for having me over! I vow to never let that much time pass before seeing you again, it is just unacceptable. :) In fact, I will see you at dinner next month...

Meet Addison

I am grateful for all of the great people I get to meet through photography. Not only do I get to share some of life's greatest moments with them, but also give them beautiful images that will be cherished by their family for generations to come.
Jennifer and Ryan welcomed me into their home with warm smiles on their faces. They are new parents to sweet little Addison. I am honored they chose me to take their first official family photos! :) I love the way these turned out, so much love came through in these images.
