Dave and I were at our friend Kevins house the other day. While Dave was helping him fix his fence I wondered around the neighborhood a little. I got to meet his very cute neighbors Amber and Hanna. They were playing in an empty lot next door, climbing trees and having a picnic. I have to admit I had a really good time hanging out with them. Though I do not have children and would never claim to know how tough it can be to be a parent, I think as adults we sometimes forget what its like to be a kid. Your world is so small you just want someone to listen and act like they really get it. Deep down there is still that nine year old in me that gets it. I remember when the smallest things meant so much. I remember certain people I met that left such an impact because they listened. I would let my imagination run wild and wanted to be just like them when I grew up.
