CAC

Dave and I spent last Monday checking out the Contemporary Art Center.  An artist named Tara Donovan has a magnificant show going on until May.  I highly encourage everyone to check this out.  It consists of installations and  sculptures made from everything from plastic cups to buttons to scotch tape to stick pins.  She turned these everyday objects into wonderful flowing works of art disguised from their original form until you really get up close, so freaking amazing.   I really loved the wall piece she made from drinking straws, it looks like a wall of clouds.  By the way, the CAC is free on Mondays after 5, just make sure to drop a few bucks in the donation box!
